See below: Sleep paralysis can occur without hallucinations as you fall asleep or wake up. Both can be independent occurrences. If you are experiencing these frequently, it is recommended you see a sleep medicine doctor for evaluation as it points to sleep fragmentation. Try to regularize your sleep times.
