Could a simple blood test in arm tell if you have stomach or colon cancer?

Depends: A blood count may show anemia than can in turn be traced to a cancer anywhere in the GI tract. Also, if the cancer is advanced, tumor markers or liver enzyme tests may be abnormal. As a rule, blood tests are not good screening methods for cancer, it's mostly luck if they find cancer early. Good question, by the way.
