Today i have way lower energy levels than normal. can that happen because your metabolism is slowing down?

Sure: Low energy can be from many things: anemia, hypothyroidism, diabetes, insomnia, arrhythmia, depression, or carbon monoxide poisoning; just to mention a few. Make your way to your Family Doc to sort out the myriad possibilities that could be at play. You will need a history, physical, and bloodwork; but should come up with a plan for improvement fairly easily.
