Depends: It all depends on why your eyes are dry. Artificial tears are used primarily for symptomatic relief. They do not treat the underlying cause of why your eyes are dry. If you are not making enough tears, Restasis may increase tear production. If you have an unstable tear film, leading to rapid tear evaporation, omega 3's may help. There are many other causes of dry eyes. See your eye MD.
