I'm curious what occurs after you have an operation for an ovarian torsion?

Mild discomfort: usually procedure is done laparoscopically. the torsed overy may have to be removed due its demised. the ovary usually dies when torsed due to lack of blood supply. fertility should be unaffected if the opposite ovary is normal.
