Scrotal enlargement: Scrotum bulges on side of hydrocele due the collection of fluid. Small hydroceles tend to be symptom free. Large hydroceles feel like a weight within thy scrotum. Can be slightly tender, especially if tense or resulting from trauma. Can cause unpleasant friction on thigh with walking or running. Severe pain ; an acute hydrocele can be due to epididymitis or testis torsion ; needs 2B seen asap.
