Scrotal enlargement: Scrotum bulges on side of hydrocele due the collection of fluid. Small hydroceles tend to be symptom free. Large hydroceles feel like a weight within thy scrotum. Can be slightly tender, especially if tense or resulting from trauma. Can cause unpleasant friction on thigh with walking or running. Severe pain ; an acute hydrocele can be due to epididymitis or testis torsion ; needs 2B seen asap.

My take ...: Hydrocele-related symptoms may include variable degree of mental and physical discomforts but largely reflecting personal ability to adopt and adapt its presence and the pace of its development - months, years, or decades. Nonetheless, whatever / whnever you may feel mentally or physically uncomfortable, seel pro-evaluation and counseling. But seek urgent attention for fast developed hydrocele ..
