Doctors, what are the odds of a teen developing throat cancer?

Pretty unlikely: Pretty unlikely for a true head and neck cancer. There are some pediatric cancers that can develop in the head and neck, but rare at that age. Would see your pcp or an ENT to have them first evaluate. Many other things can cause weird throat symptoms.
