My baby is 3 weeks old and we've noticed some blood in his stools. we feed him enfamil and recently switched from walmart brand. is this the cause?

Milk Allergy: Blood in the stool for a very young baby who otherwise seems well, could be a sign of cow milk protein allergy. If the baby is growing well, seems healthy, and not too fussy, you might watch for a few days. If the baby is fussy, gassy, not sleeping well, i would suggest trying an allergy formula such as nutamagen or alimentum. Both are quite expensive, but are covered by wic.
