A member asked:

Scan showed a large mass high in uterus. went for two ultrasounds 2 months apart and it's not visible. how can this happen? can a mass disappear?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ultrasound: An actual mass would not disappear. Either the first radiologist interpreted something as a mass that was not really a uterine mass. Or the second radiologist did not see the mass. Maybe the two radiologists can look at their readings together and give you an explanation.
