Not ordinarily: There are no nerves in the walls or septum of the nose controling facial muscles. Nose piercing is also not usually done under anesthesia. Careless or unsanitary piercing or anesthesia injection by an inexperienced or unlicensed person can result in any kind of complication or infection. If you have paralysis after facial piercing see a doctor immediately.
