Yes it can happen: Cubital tunnel syndrome is what entrapping the ulnar nerve is called at the level of the elbow. Pain, numbness, tingling, and weakness in the areas of the 4th and 5th fingers of the hand as well as other hand functions and sensations are compromised to varying degrees depending upon severity of the entrapment and whether or not it's acute vs. Chronic.
