Omega 3: A neurologist or psychiatrist may be better able to speak to the possible benefits and dosing of vitamin b12. From a cardiovascular standpoint, the strongest studies for fish oil (omega 3) suggest improvements in cholesterol profile when using 4 to 6 grams daily. Most over-the-counter fish oil is not fda approved.
