Nail polish?: If you don't smoke (a common cause), the most likely culprit is nail polish. The yellowing is a result of your nails absorbing some of the pigment from the polish. Dark red pigments are most likely to stain your nails, so try a lighter red, or a different color altogether. Yellow nails can also be caused by some medical conditions, so if it's not cigarets or polish, you should consult your doctor.
