How do you know?: See a dermatologist. Scalp fungus is unusual after puberty. When it occurs it should be treated. Perhaps you have something else.

Ok: Fungus in the scalp/hair is hard to treat. If not treated, it can often cause bald patches, etc. See a dr. And get treated. Sometimes medications may be needed by mouth to treat it most effectively.
