Hard to know yet.: Blood work could certainly answer some questions about your swollen lymph nodes. If, for example, they are swollen due to an infection, the blood work may show that. Your family history does increase your eventual risk for breast cancer, and, if other studies are not helpful, an imaging study of the breast, such as an ultrasound or mammogram, may help.
