Yes to both: Bladder suspensions suspend the bladder and mesh can be used to reinforce the repair and support the urethra. There are reports/complications w/mesh described in the literature, however, an experienced surgeon that knows when ; how to use the mesh can discuss potential complications with you. It depends on the degree of repair necessary and the quality of the tissue present to repair.

Most repairs can be : completed using your own tissue and stitches. Mesh is still appropriate in some cases. When used by an experienced gyn surgeon or urogynecologist it has reasonable risks. I am not sure what you mean by "laying on the pelvic bone". A prolapsed bladder can cause symptoms of pressure or pain in the pelvis.
