I have endometriosis growing around my bladder (seen during previous surgery) causing interstitial cystitis type symptoms. if surgery to remove it doesnt improve symptoms, can i request my bladder to be removed? would they take me seriously at 27?

Good thought but.....What you would then need is for a section of intestine be fashioned into a pseudo bladder over which you would have no control of urine coming out of it and have to wear a pad over the hole draining the pseudo bladder. I would ask about less drastic solution in your area in women like you.

Removing urinary bladder would not be a good choice. Endometriosis could be terminated by removing your ovaries, as it is the cyclical bleeding from endometrium that causes of endometriosis.
