Started on 150mg of trileptal 2x day for a week.went to 300x2 day after a week and now have terrible migraines.waiting for doctor to call back tomorrow. is it safe to take 150x2 a day until then?

Yes: It is safe to go back to your previous dose while you were waiting for him to get back to you but make sure you get in touch with him or the doctor that is covering him asap.

Yes.: The most common side-effect of Trileptal is headaches (31%), dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, vomitting and visual blurring. If you didn't have problems with 150 mg. Bid, go back to that dose.
