Floaters: Occasional floaters okay. A flurry of floaters, with or without a change in vision is cause for concern. If that occurs, see eye doc at once!

Floaters: Often develop during our adult years and are usually not associated with any eye problems. However, high myopes have an increased risk of retinal tears and detachment compared to others. If you've developed floaters recently, then you should be seen asap by an ophthalmologist to rule out any retinal problems.
