In a huge dilemma due to diverse opinions - symptomatic(floaters) lattice deg(top+bottom)+no tear/hole/break+high myopic(-7.5d). requires treatment?

If floaters are that: Bothersome and symptomatic then surgery would help, since the surgeon is there may as well treat the lattice.
