Swollen Gums...: ... Are most likely due to periodontal inflammation and not to any of your other symptoms. Have your physician examine you to see what is causing your gastrointestinal distress.

2 separate problems: 1. General health problem, see your PCP for evaluation, tests and treatment. 2. Swollen gums can be a sign that you are at risk for, or already have, gum disease. See your dentist ASAP. Take care.
