Normal newborn: Newborns feed 30-60 ml every 1-2 hours for the first month. This is normal as he will be growing intensely during this time. The bulging tummy is also normal as there is very little muscle tone yet and the bulging stomach indicates that his intestines are full. See a Dr for excessive crying or back arching with crying, pellet like stool, or no wet diapers in a period of 6 hours.
