Same as the other: The same reason you needed the myringotomy in the other ear may be going on in the ear currently having a problem. See your ENT if it doesn't improve.

I had strep throat with a middle ear infection for 18 days. I completed an amoxicillin course of 20 tablets, and because of the middle ear I had to do myringotomy too, but even after that I still have a phlegm cough , and sore throat. Is this serious?
