Nothing is permanent: Platelet rich plasma is produced from the patient and injected back into an area of tissue damage. Sometimes considered "experimental" and therefore non-covered this procedure may allow for improved healing regarding the use of concentrated growth factors. Ligaments in adults rarely heal as strong as the "original" parts and a variety of surgical ligament repairs may be required as well.
