No: It depends if it's a 24 hour or spot (one time sample) urine sample, but a better evaluation of the return of your pheochromocytoma, may be the paroxysmal (sporadic) nature of your hypertension. "essential" (aka run of the mill) hypertension is so common that you've simply developed hypertension and a returning pheochromocytoma is not the cause, especially if the 24-h urine met is negative.
