Large adenoma: I trust that conn's syndrome and cushingism have been ruled out as causes of hypertnesion. This is very large for an adrenal cortical adenoma, and you may wish to get a another opinion from the imaging specialists and the endocrine specialists as to whether it should perhaps be removed. See below: You should consult with a urologist or a general surgeon who has experience with adrenal disorders. 7 cm is large for an adenoma, and you want to make sure all other differential diagnoses are ruled out. Even if the diagnosis of adenoma is confirmed, surgery may be needed in some cases.
