Be happy it is gone: Usually we are not able to identify a cause for lichen planus. After a few (or many) months it usually goes away. We do not know why. Wish we did. Your remission was not related to any of your meds.

Autoimmune: This is an autoimmune disease where layers of the tissues tend to separate. It doesn't go away generally but will "come and go". Don't let it get out of hand. Usually routinely applied topical steroids will help.
