Abnormal liver tests: The numbers you gave show your baby has elevated liver enzymes and high bilirubin level. There are many reasons why these are high. If your baby is on an antibiotic for infection the infection - if serious - could be causing the liver to be inflamed and cause the higher numbers. Your baby's doctors can do other tests to see if the liver is having problems.
