May be not: Scabies (from latin: scabere, "to scratch"), also known colloquially as the seven-year itch, is a contagious skin infection caused by the mite sarcoptes scabiei. The mite is a tiny, and usually not directly visible, parasite which burrows under the host's skin, causing intense allergic itching.

Yes: The classic and most common symptom associated with scabies is intense itching, worse at night but can occur any time of the day. If you have no itching, it is possible that you do not have scabies and you have some other disorder that might look like scabies. Also, you can have scabies without itching if there are any associated nervous system or mental disorders masking it.
