Can you tell me are medicinal herbs and health supplements a scam?

Blanket statement: I think you need to evaluate each herb and health supplement separately, plus each company that provides them. Medicinal herbs and dietary supplements are regulated as foods rather than as medicines, so you cannot assume the same research quality or quantity as pharmaceutical medications have supporting them. Calling all herbal and nutritional products a "scam, " though, is not appropriate.
