What to do if i'm just curious if there is a difference between hypothyroid and hashimoto's disease?

The cause/trigger: Hypothyroidism is the term used for low thyroid function leading to fatigue, poor metabolism, weight gain, depression, pain, and more. Hashimoto's refers to an attack of the thyroid by your immune system, which may initially cause HYPER symptoms and then HYPO symptoms thus often causing a "rollercoaster' of symptoms. Have your thyroglobulin and thyroid peroxidase antibodies checked to find out.
