Environmental: removing or limiting indoor allergens is the key. Remove rugs (if possible or use HEPA filter vacuum. Cover mattresses with dust mite barrier covers. Smoke from tobacco, fireplaces,etc can also be a cause. Know your triggers and try to minimize your exposure. These are the best things you ca do. Good Luck
