Air embolism during sex on menstrual period, is this normal?

No: This is hugely abnormal. This is most familiar from certain bizarre sexual practices. If this supposedly happened from normal intercourse and the woman was actually sick, I'd try to find out exactly what's going in -- it's not supposed to be one of the hazards.

I was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism 2019 October was on blood thinners until august 2020. My physician stopped me from them because I was loosing a lot of blood when on my periods therefore prescribed iron supplements,and other medication.
