Dry eye?: This could be dry eye. Try artificial tear drops before you go to bed and just as you wake up. If that doesn't work see an eye doctor.

Artificial Tears: Most likely you are sleeping with your eyes slightly open. I would suggest a viscous artificial tear (which you can get over the counter) prior to going to bed. See how that works.
