Inflammation: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, Your ESR is elevated and suggests some inflammation. ESR is not a diagnostic test for any given disease. It would require in-person evaluation through more history, physical examination and may be more lab and/or imaging studies.
