My mom's esr is 105. she has an abdominal swelling causing pain on the right side. it seems to b growing. a) so wht scanning shld b done on her? b) go to doc and then scan or scan and then go to doc - which is a better option? if any other, do sgst?

Doc first: Your mother needs an exam first with her doc or the doc that ordered her ESR ( that is abnormally high). Imaging studies will definitely help and the type of the study will be established based on exam and detailed history. A specialist may be needed once more is known.
