Perfectly normal: Eruption patterns vary widely from child to child, and it is not uncommon for some children to start the process later than others. There is nothing you can do to speed up the process.

Still no teeth: While not common, it may still be well within the normal range to not have any teeth erupted yet. Take your child to a pedodontist for an examination. Often at this time the dentist can feel and or see teeth just below the gum line ready to erupt. Your pediatrician should be able to evaluate and allay your fears regarding your concern about your child having downs syndrome.
