what could be wrong if my left hip pain for close to three years now. pain feels deep in socket with groin pain as well?

Would seek help.: Had and medical evaluation yet ? Hip pain could be from the hip joint itself or from the low back. I would thus seek help from a specialist in this regard on the assumption that you have sought help from your pcp, had imaging studies and perhaps pt as well. 3 years is long enough time and specialized consultation is warranted at this time if this has not occurred already . Be well.
