Call orthodontist: Are you wearing your retainers? The sooner you call the less relapse you will have.

Retainers: I assume that your orthodontist made retainers for you to wear to prevent tooth movement after your braces were removed. Have you been wearing them, or for as long as was recommended? If not, start now and your teeth might move back into better alignment. In some instances, another type of removable appliance, called a spring aligner, can be used to realign them and then serve as your retainer.

See orthodontist: See your orthodontist asap before your relapse is too severe to correct easily. The longer you wait the harder it will be to correct.

Retention: This may be a retention issue. Either retainers are in need of adjustment or they are not being worn as directed. Please call your orthodontic specialist to have this resolved before a small problem becomes a big one.
