Just found out I hav: Sometimes, but sually there is a compression of the veins in the affected limb that can cause the swelling, to be safe ask for venous ultrasound to make sure no blood clots; otherwise talk to the doctor who diagnosed you with the sciatica, he would be able to tell you better after examining you.
