Can you tell me is aloe vera gel harmful to teeth?

Assuming: The gel has a neutral ph and lacks additives that contain sugars or chemicals that are toxic, probably not. But why? I can think of no benefit or reason to use aloe v on teeth. Good oral hygiene w brushing and flossing is what the teeth need!
