A member asked:

Alanine transaminase levels of 48 apparently should be below 34 on liver function tests everything else looks within normal limits what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Virus/ fatty liver: Mild elevation like this is either due to a viral infection you are currently having ( as simple as cold symptoms) or fat depositions on the liver if you are overweight.
