Dentist / ENT doctor: Your dentist can examine a sore/lesion if it is near the opening of throat. If the painful spot is deeper below, your ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctor/surgeon can evaluate the source of pain as well as treat the sore spot. While many abnormalities may be benign, or easily treatable, they can grow into more serious condition. Please find a dentist or doctor and get a referral to a specialist.
