Low.: Hard to say exactly but likelihood of needing antibiotics with a cough for almost 8 weeks is really low. Bacterial infections are usually more acute. A chronic productive cough should be investigated by your primary provider.

Possible: But see doctor as there may be another cause of your cough (allergies, gerd...........).
