A member asked:

Menstrual like cramping more dominant on one side 2-3days after ovulation.feels like bad ovulation pain.what can this mean (ovarian cyst? cancer?)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be cyst,,,: This could be a cyst or possibly an adhesion in the abdominal cavity from possible past episodes of bleeding with ovulation. There might be a cyst there and it could be hemorrhagic which would also cause pain. Endometriosis can cause pain in your cycle. If it's really bad it'd be best to see your doctor for at least a pelvic exam and other tests to find out the cause. Best of luck.
