Ptosis: When your eyelids start to close because of "weak" muscles, it is called a ptosis. However, there are many other reasons whe an eyelid may look closed. For example, excessive skin on the upper lids could give the appearance of closing eyes. If you have dry eyes or any other chronic irritation, the eyes would try to close to protect the surface. See an eye md for the reason your eyes are closing.
