May take weeks.: The condition where there are "marks" after a pimple or other inflammatory process occurs in the skin is known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It is not scarring, and it will fade over time but it may take weeks to months for it to do so. Make sure you are applying spf30 to the areas to ensure that sunlight does not prolong the hyperpigmentation.
