About

Bio

After graduating from medical school, I began a residency in Internal Medicine only to realize I loved working in the clinic setting while simultaneously doing outpatient surgeries and procedures. Dermatology offered me a chance to be challenged with medical diagnosis and appropriate treatment, as well as procedures such as skin cancer surgery and cosmetic injections such as Botox and fillers. Additionally, it provided for fun laser procedures as well as other types of medical devices throughout the course of one day of patients. Each day in my dermatology clinic is very unique and different. I welcome new patients, whether they be medical or cosmetic or surgical, because my patients and the challenges they bring are the reason I went into the most wonderful specialty in medicine!

Specialties
Doctors may have more than one area of specialty interest. Board certification in a specialty area means the doctor has completed formal training and has practice experience in that specialty, and has passed the certification examination from the corresponding accredited medical specialty board.
