No if low grade: If this is a viral illness it will resolve usually within one week without complications. For the low grade fever, it is not necessary to give advil which is used generally for fevers higher than101. Fluids, rest, monitor his temperature. Gently removing mucus from the nose with nasal saline and a suction bulb will reduce post nasal drip. If cough lingers or worsens, see M.D.

Disagree: Hydroxyzine is a highly sedating allergy medicine with mild cough suppressing effect. I do not recommend it to my patients especially at such a young age. I would do infant Vicks rub to chest, back and feet for the night time. But if you choose to give it, it's ok to give it with advil (ibuprofen)
