Not directly but...: Most diet sodas have aspartame. Sweet n'low has saccharin. Neither of these directly raise blood sugar but they cause weight gain ; increase diabetes risk! aspartame worsens Insulin sensitivity- see http://bit.Ly/1hylgyu ; http://ti.Me/ovdmhn also see http://bit.Ly/18u9wmo ; http://bit.Ly/1hvl28d i think anyone who wants to be healthy should avoid these- stevia xylitol, maltitol etc. Are better.

No, not sugar, study: https://www.healthtap.com/#user_questions/6679417. There are no clinical trials proving any sweeteners, including stevia (a sugar), xylitol (a sugar), dextrose (a sugar), maltitol (a sugar), etc. are any better despite claims & marketing that they are. Look up their structure on Google images: e.g. "stevia molecule" & you will see similar structures: carbon molecules with many -OH side groups.
